Export your wireless profiles

It is highly recommended that you create a back-up of essential wireless profiles. This will allow you to seamlessly move from one concordia-owned computer to another without needing to reconfigure your wireless settings. This is especially useful if you have a secure wireless network at home and you might forget the passcode for it.

Backing Up Profiles using Access Connections

  1. Go to Start, All Programs, ThinkVantage, Access Connections
  2. Click on Manage
  3. Click on Import/Export.
  4. Click on the Export button shown below:
  5. You will be asked to select the profiles you want to export, then click OK
  6. Click on the My Documents button on the left, and then name the folder and click Save
  7. You have successfully exported your wireless profiles, now you will just need to save that folder onto a jump drive or CD so when you switch computers you can easily load them on there.
