Backing Up Bookmarks

As far as backing up bookmarks goes, it is different for which browser you are using.

If you are using Internet Explorer:

There is a file on your computer that holds your Favorites. To find it, go to Start>My Computer>Local Disc (C:)>Documents and Settings>Reineck. You should see a star called Favorites there, and that is what you back up.

If you are using Firefox:

Firefox has an add on it’s browser called Foxmarks which stores your bookmarks. By creating an account, which only takes a minute, you can back up your bookmarks easily and import them on another Firefox browser. In order to get this, use this link: http://www.foxmarks.com/. From there, it will give you instructions on what to do to back up your bookmarks. When you get your new computer, all you will need to do is download Foxmarks, log in, and sync your browser with your bookmarks.
