Copy and Paste
- Type or select all the text you want to copy.
- Go to the Edit menu on the top of the page and click Select All. This will highlight the text.
- Go to Edit menu again and click
- Copy to copy the text (the text stays there)
- Cut to cut the text (the text is removed from the page)
- Go to the desired program of where you want to paste the text.
- Click your cursor inside the text field at the spot where you want to paste the text.
- Go to the Edit menu and click Paste.
The following are keyboard shortcuts to perform the actions above:
- Select All = <Ctrl-A>
- Copy = <Ctrl-C>
- Cut = <Ctrl-X>
- Paste = <Ctrl-V>
