Creating and sending a Distribution List.

How To Create a Distribution List
- Open Outlook.
- From the File menu choose New...Distribution List.
- In the "Name" field, enter the name of the new distribution list.
- Click Select Members.
- From the Show Names from the drop-down list, select the address book that contains the names you want to add.
- In the "Name" field select the name from the list that appears or type in the name you want to add to the distribution list in the Type Name box.
- Click Members button to copy the name to the Add to Distribution List area.
- When you have added all of the names, click OK.
- Click Close and Save.

How To Use a Distribution List
- Open Outlook.
- Click New in the Standard Toolbar.
- Click To.
- From the "Name" list, select the distribution list you want. You may need to choose Contacts from the Show Names from the list.
- Click To.
- Click OK.

How To Update a Distribution List
You need to first update the email on the contact BEFORE you can change your Distribution List
- Open Outlook.
- Click Contacts in Folder List.
- Open contact you need to change.
- Make the appropriate changes to the email address.
- Click Save and Close.
- Double-click to open the Distribution List you need to update.
- Click the Update Now button. You should see the change reflected in list.
- Click Save and Close.
