- How do you import existing distribution lists from Outlook?
- At this time personal distribution lists will have to be recreated in Google. Check out the Gmail Groups support page for information on how to create Groups/Lists in your Google account.
- How do you access a global address list?
- At this time Google does not offer a Global Address List feature. By default Google automatically adds the e-mail address of anyone that you correspond with to your Contacts.
- How long does Google take to cache your contacts?
- It should cache your contacts immediately. We did notice some issues with Internet Explorer during the session that were causing some Contacts to open incorrectly.
- How do you create contacts "on the fly"?
- Contacts are automatically created on the fly by your Google account. Every time you correspond with someone using your Google e-mail account, that person's e-mail address will be added to your Contacts. The purpose of this feature is to allow you to search any and all contacts that you may need to get in touch with in the future.
