Exchange 2007 Migration

During the week of December 31, 2007 through January 4, 2008 the IT department will be migrating faculty and staff mailboxes to a new Microsoft Exchange Server.

The actual migrations will begin on January 2. During this time, it is recommended that all faculty and staff leave Outlook closed. If this is not possible for you, you may need to take some extra steps after the migration is complete. Please see the steps below for details.

Outlook 2003 Configuration

Before starting, make sure that Outlook is closed.

  1. Click on the Start button and select the Control Panel.
  2. Click on the Classic View link on the left side of the window if you are not in the classic view already. (The Classic View looks similar to the example on the right.) You can switch back to the Categories View when you are finished.
  3. Double-click on the Mail icon.
  4. Click on E-mail Accounts…
  5. Select View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts
