Formatting

Formatting deals with things way you view your document and how it looks.

Microsoft Outlook

  1. In Outlook, right click on the toolbars at the top and make sure you have the Advanced toolbar shown.
  2. Within the Advanced toolbar, look for the current view tab (it probably says Messages and then has an arrow to expand this to other options). Click on the arrow and then select Define Views... This will open the Custom View Organizer.
  3. Within the Custom View Organizer, select Messages and then click on the Modify... button. This will open a Customize View: Messages box.
  4. Within the Customize View: Messages box, select Automatic Formatting...
  5. In the Automatic Formatting box, click on the Font... button.
  6. Select a font, size, and color of your preference and click OK 3 times. Then click Apply View.

Microsoft Word

  • If the text got really small and the font size is what it should be (normal sized) it is probably that the page is zoomed out really far.

You can check what percent the page is at. img:Word_zoom.png If you cannot find that toolbar

  1. Go to View
  2. Go to Toolbars and make sure that the Standard toolbar is checked.
  • If you see all the formatting changes and/or the paragraph markings and such, then go to View then click on Markup. This is should fix the problem.
