Google Apps Calendar Permissions
Google Apps provides two main options for controlling calendar permissions. You can choose whether or not to share your calendar or just free/busy information with all users in the csp.edu domain, as well as with specific individual users. You can also choose whether or not to share your calendar or free/busy information with the public (anyone outside the csp.edu domain).
Steps For Changing Default Calendar Permissions
- From your Google Apps e-mail interface select the link to your calendar.
- Beneath your list of calendars click the Manage Calendars link.
- Select the Calendars tab.
- Click on Shared: Edit Settings next to your calendar.
- Under the Share With Everyone section choose the option that you would like for sharing your calendar with the public (i.e. anyone outside the csp.edu domain).
- Do not share with everyone
- Share all information on this calendar with everyone.
- Share only my free / busy information (hide details).
- Under the Share with my domain section choose the option that you would like for sharing your calendar with all those on the csp.edu domain.

- Share all information on this calendar with everyone in my domain.
- Share only my free / busy information with my domain.

- Repeat Steps 1 - 4 above.
- Under the Share with specific people section type in the e-mail address of the person you wish to give additional permissions to.
- From the drop-down select the permission that you would like to give this person.
- See all event changes (default)

- Make changes to events
- See free/busy information (no details)
- Click the Add Person button.
