IP Phone Services

Concordia offers a number of IP Phone Services for your Cisco VoIP Phone. IP Phone Services allow your phone to access information on the Internet including the weather, RSS Feeds, CSP News and Events, Stock Quotes, and Airport Delays. Follow the steps below to subscribe to these services.

Steps for subscribing to IP Phone Services

1. Log on using your network username and password at the User Options Site.
2. Click on the Configure your IP Phone Services link.
3. Click on the Available Services dropdown.
4. Select the service that you would like to subscribe to (i.e. RSS Feeds, Weather, FAA Airport Delay Check, Stock Quotes).
5. Click Continue.
   1. For the RSS Feeds Service, you must give the feed a name and paste in the URL for the feed that you wish to display.
   2. To add the CSP News or CSP Events feeds, type in the name of the feed that you want into the Service Name* field.
   3. Paste the URL for the appropriate feed into the URL* field. http://csp.edu/xml/news.xml for the CSP News feed or http://csp.edu/xml/events.xml for the CSP Events feed. (Note: you can do this for any RSS feed that you wish to view on your phone.)
6. Click Subscribe.
7. Your new service subscription will now be displayed on your phone when you press the Services button.
