Laundry Web

With the new portal page there is a way to check and hold and wait for laundry machines all at your very fingertips.

Logging into Laundry Web

First you will have to log into the new portal with your network username and password.
After that, you can go to the Student Resources tab.
Then you will click on the following link in the upper left hand corner of the window:

After that you will be brought into another login screen.
Then you will be able to see your balances on your card as well as how many meals you have remaining.
On the left column select Laundry Web and it will take you to a welcome screen.
On the left column select Room Status and it will show you all the rooms with laundry machines in them.
For the sake of this set of instructions, we are in the RLC. This is what you see:

As you can see, all the washers and dryers are available for use. There are a couple options here that need explaining.

The numbers listed here are the numbers located on the machines.
The Action column allows you to hold a machine for you (this means that once you click that button, nobody else can use that machine for 2 minutes) The other button listed in the Action column is Wait and that is when a machine is in use, you can wait for it and the system will send you an email when that machine is open.
The Notify Last User button is used in case there are clothes in a machine that are done being washed or dried and the person hasn't come to pick them up yet, you can click this button to have the system send them an email.

In order to use any sort of notification with this system, you have to change it in your preferences.
