Ring Tones

Ring tones are used on campus by the Cisco Voip phones to provide customizable sounds when the phones ring.

How To Change A Ring Tone
- Press the settings button on the phone.
- Press '1' for User Preferences.
- Press '1' for Rings.
- Press '1' for Default Ring. WARNING: Do not change the ring that displays your extension (typically the '2' key). Otherwise, you may not get the ring tone that you want to hear.
- Use the green toggle button on the phone to move to the ring you wish to hear.
- Press the Play soft key to hear the ring.
- Press the Select soft key to choose that ring for your phone.
