Update Quiz Scores

Students Taking Quizzes Off-line
There may be instances where students are not able to take a quiz in WebCT and would need to take the quiz offline. WebCT does not allow you to edit quiz scores within the Manage Students section. Instead, you will have to update the grade within the quiz itself.
- Navigate to the Quizzes web page of the respective WebCT course.
- Click on the Submissions button for the respective quiz in question.
- This page will show you your students and who have taken the quiz online. The ones who have not will have dashes across their row.
- Find the student who took the quiz off line. Click on the linked, triple dash under the No. column for that student. This will open their quiz that they did not take.
- From here, you can override the score for each question, or you can scroll to the bottom of the page, find the Quiz score adjustment field, and input a total score.
- Click on the Submit quiz button when finished.
- Do this for each student if need be.

WebCT Not Scoring Properly
Sometimes there may be an occasion where a student took a quiz, yet they did not receive a score. In the score column, a dash will appear for the student even though a quiz attempt is there. In this case, you can have WebCT re-grade the quiz.
- Navigate to the Quizzes web page of the respective WebCT course.
- Click on the Submissions button for the respective quiz in question.
- This page will show you your students and who have taken the quiz online. Find the student(s) whose submission has been graded, yet have dashes in the score column. Click in the checkbox to the left of their name.
- Within the Actions menu, click on the Grade button.
