This document will tell you how to change your WebCT password from within the myBlackboard (formally myWebCT) page. "myBlackboard" is the first page that appears when you log into WebCT. If you need to change your password because you forgot it, you will need to fill out the WebCT Support Form.

CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD
- This is your myBlackboard page, which lists all of your courses, announcements, and other relevant information. To change your WebCT password, click on the Password Settings button.
- Type in your old password using the <Tab> keys to navigate, create, and confirm a new password. This new password needs to be at least six characters. We recommend that you use a combination of letters and numbers for the password and not use common words that can be attributed to you.
- Next, click on the Update Password button. Once you update your password, you will need to log back in with your new password.
- You can also create a Login hint, which is helpful in case you ever forget your password. You will need to type in the answer to your login hint and you will receive your password in your e-mail. When complete, click on the Update login hint button.
- Once you have returned to the myBlackboard main menu, you may click on the course that you wish to access.
