Types of Students in WebCT
- Future Students: Future Students of Concordia who need access to the WebCT Prospective Student Guide.
- Non-Cohort Traditional Students: Students in the traditional college who have a class which utilizes WebCT.
- Cohort Students: All cohort students utilize WebCT. Programs may be offered face-to-face, blended, or fully online.
- SCS Students: All School of Continuing Studies courses utilize WebCT. Courses may be offered face-to-face, blended, or fully online.
System and History
WebCT (Web Course Tools) is the online course delivery tool of Concordia University. It may be also used for some or all of your course materials. If you are in an online or blended program, WebCT serves as your virtual classroom environment. Approximately 3000 Concordia University students and faculty use WebCT currently, and it has been in use since 1998.
WebCT Support
If you encounter problems with viewing content within WebCT, please complete the steps found on Troubleshooting WebCT. If you continue to encounter difficulties or errors, please contact WebCT Support WebCT Support employs an electronic support submission system that allows the small team to support the large number of users most effectively.
More detailed, topic-specific help can be found by clicking on Help in the upper-right corner of any screen in WebCT. You may also access other resources and learning tools directly [from the publisher]. Please note that this information is separate from the support offered by Concordia University, St. Paul.
Login to WebCT
- To login, navigate to the [Concordia University Portal Page].
- Please note that WebCT works best in Internet Explorer.
- You should bookmark this web page on your computer for access to Concordia St. Paul (CSP) resources.
- Click on the WebCT button on the top right of the page.
- This link will take you to the WebCT Login Screen.
- When you are ready to login, click the Login to MyWebCT link.
- When the authentication box appears, enter your case-sensitive username and password (you receive these at the start of your program/class).
- Click OK when you have entered the appropriate information.
- When you are properly authenticated, you will have access to your myWebCT main menu.
- Click on the title of the course you are trying to access to enter the course.

- Browser Tune-up if you have not logged into WebCT on the computer that you are using, you must prepare your computer by completing the browser tune-up
