What is Audio Visual?

Audio visual equipment needs to be requested or is already set up in rooms on campus. Audio visual equipment includes:

  • Projectors
  • TVs
  • VCR/DVD players
  • Cameras
  • Etc.

It might also include fixing or replacing equipment that has been requested or is in the room.

  • Light bulbs
  • batteries for remotes
  • Etc.

Conference and Event Services handles all Audio Visual needs, which includes broken Audio Visual equipment, requesting AV equipment. Contact Chad Horrmann either by e-mail or cell phone (651.245.2970) for any audio visual equipment.

Basic troubleshooting

Check to make sure the equipment is on, plugged in correctly, and running correctly (settings etc...). Many problems are easily fixed.

If all else fails, restart your machine, many problems can be solved by a restart. (note: leave the cable connecting the AV equipment to the computer plugged in to the computer when you restart)

Requesting Audio Visual

If you are wondering about audio visual equipment for rent, simply fill out an Audio Visual Request Form under forms on the CSP website or here.

NOTE: LMC 114 (the Computer Lab) is checked out by WebCT Tier 2. There is a form on the webct page. This room is not checked out by Conferences and Events.
