Optimal Battery Performance Setting

In order to maintain the optimal amount of battery life please go through the following steps:

Open your Power Manager either by clicking on the green battery icon on your task bar, or by going to Start > All Programs > ThinkVantage > Power Manager
In the drop down menu labeled Scheme Name choose Maximum Battery Life
This will cause your screen to go darker when on battery power, but it will increase the life of your battery overall.
