Power cord
Bad Power Cord
A power cord is bad if there are wires showing or parts of the actual cord have worn away. If this happens, it is very important that you do not use it, but rather stop down at the help desk. We will do the following:
- Take your cord
- Get your information
- Name
- Lnumber
- Contact information
- Call or email the Bear Center
After this has been completed, you are then able to go the cashier office and pay whatever the charge is for the cord. This charge fluctuates daily, so we will be able to give you the price that day.
Once you have paid your fine, you can bring your receipt to the help desk and we will provide a new power cord for you.
Loaner Cord
The Help Desk does not "check out" loaner cords. This is something that we have done in the past (with a power cord that is spray painted bright orange), but the power cord has been stolen. Students, faculty, and staff members can plug in their laptops to the power cords located at the Help Desk if they need to charge their battery.
