Time cards
[edit]
What is a time card?
A time card is a card (electronic or paper) that is used to keep track of an employees hours worked. Any faculty, staff, or student who is paid by the hour will need to fill out a time card. If you have completed an electronic time card, you must submit it for approval. Make sure you submit your time card on time.

How to fill out a time card
At this point there are few if any employees who fill out paper time cards at Concordia University. Most will need to log into Bear Path to fill out an electronic time card. They will then submit this time card before the deadline that they are given.
- Log into Bear Path
- Click on Employee Services
- If Employee Services does not appear they will need to contact their supervisor or Human Resources.
- Select Time Sheet
- Then select the correct position.
- Note: If an employee is working more than one position they may have more than one time sheet. They will need to fill the hours worked for each individual job as there may be pay differences in their positions.
- Select the correct pay period.
- The pay period is a two week time frame and can be selected by hitting the down arrow next the first pay period listed under a particular position.
- Click Time Sheet
- From here the employee should be able to fill in their time sheet by day.
- Times must be entered in 15 minute increments (12:00, 12:15, 12:30, etc.)
- you must save all entries for them to be recorded.
- At the end of the pay period, which can be found next to Submit by Date in the Time Sheet, the employee will submit the time sheet by selecting Submit for Approval
